Regardless of your feelings on the bailout those in DC are working on, it is certainly interesting to watch the circus unfold. Albeit also a little scary. I enjoy taking the vantage point of somewhat cynical observer. That has actually become my favorite position to be with respect to politics - cynical/skeptical observer. But that's a whole different post sometime.
I thought this list of Senators who voted no on the bailout bill today was quite interesting. The Democratic Senator from Oregon, Ron Wyden, voted No. The Republican Senator, Gordon Smith, voted yes. Interesting....
One thing is for sure -- it is a very interesting time to be watching the Washington DC circus.
